Since my last update I've gone on a two-month trip, had a birthday, and gotten into college, so it's been an interesting year. Hopefully I'll be getting back into writing soon.

Words : Part 4-4I clenched my hands so hard my knuckles turned white, and watched as my memory-self completed its transformation into a large, scaled, feathered beast with antlers. It looked almost like a picture-book dragon crossed with a human and a lion. Well, the face was human. The eyes, from what I could tell, were golden and resembled an owls.Words : Part 4-4
Whatever it was, it scared the hell out of the freaks in rags. They attempted to run, but my memory-self caught and ate them before slinking out of the building - politely closing the door after it, using its tail to do so - and flew off. It roamed the city, ate a few more people, got tired, d

Words : Part 3-4Finding a Healer turned out to be a lot harder than it sounded, especially with Rosa glaring at everyone, but eventually we caught wind of one living near the Highway.Words : Part 3-4
His name was Finnbar OBrien, and he looked normal.
When we visited him, he had guests, but he said it was no trouble and introduced us. There was a young man, around his age, who was named Jesse Hudson. He had a black leather eyepatch over his right eye, and something told me that it wasnt because he wanted to be a pirate. The other guest, a girl around thirteen years old, was Claire Hudson, his younger sister. She was more normal than all

Words : Part 2-4Rosa took the news pretty well. She did hit me, though.Words : Part 2-4
After that she used her meager - her word, not mine - knowledge to deduce that whatever the hell was wrong with me, it wasnt health-related. Jake went out to get us some breakfast and coffee, and Rosa called the nearest hospital to set up an appointment. She figured it couldnt hurt to have a professional take a look at me.
I had finally calmed down, though. The whole thing was freaky as shit, but the fact that Rosa and Jake di

Words : Part 1-4Rousing from technicolor dreams with a psychedelic tinge that left no solid impression on my memory, I stared balefully at my bedroom door, wondering why it sounded like a S.W.A.T. team was trying to break it down.Words : Part 1-4
Whos there? I shouted, but it came out as something of a muffled croak. I tried again. Same results.
But it got the attention of whoever was on the other side of the door, and the banging ceased. If they said anything, I didnt manage to hear the words - but even in my half-awake daze, I could clearly see the silvery blue words slither through the crack of the door and hang in the ai

anthropomorphismI sleep inside your closet. Your old winter coats share stories with me because we have something in common: you havent touched us in years. You grew up, and you didnt need a jacket to stay warm, and you didnt need a girl to play house with.anthropomorphism
I remember the old adage when I wear your shoes. They are six sizes too big and they dont even have imprints of your toes in them, because they are your dress shoes, your dance shoes, your rain boots. Finally I find that I fit comfortably into the tennis shoes you outgrew eight years ago, but all I can judge from your little toeprints is that you hated show-and-tell be
